Elderly Woman Succumbs to Dog Attack Injuries in Birmingham

In April 2nd, 2021, Lucille Downer, an 85 year-old lady lost her life pertaining to a ferocious dog attack in Birmingham

This mishap unfolded in the lady's own back garden where the two dogs managed to come inside through a hole in the fence

The attack was so severe that the lady finally succumbed to the "serious" injuries after a while  when being treated in the emergency ward

Following the incident, the owner of the two dangerous dogs was immediately arrested and the dogs seized

It was decided by a jury that while the owner was charged for two years, the dogs would be put to sleep given their high-level threat to the public

And while this may seem a just punishment, there is no way the bereaved family can get their "mother, grandmother and great-grandmother" back
