French Bulldog dies of 'substance' ingestion, leaves Owners devastated

Holden, a 7-year old French Bulldog has unfortunately passed away hours after ingesting 'substance' from the footpath

During one of their regular walks on Tuesday near Doonfoot in Ayr, Holden managed to consume an unknown substance lying on the footpath

Within a few minutes of doing so, the pup had to be hospitalized as he scuffled to even stand up properly and had his eyes "rolled back in his head"

At the clinic, vets suggested that Holden had consumed "something really sinister" and was in a very bad state

The team tried reviving Holden by using Naloxone, a commonly used medication for reversing opioid effects in humans

However, it was too late for the unfortunate pup, and ultimately Leanne Helm and Chris Hume (Holden's parents) had to put down their beloved pup
