Amidst the biggest ever international sting operation, a German police dog named Diesel, has helped track down a suspected fugitive

Suspected to be one of the gang members that help smuggle people in small boats, Dirk P by Der Spiegel had long been on the target of the German police

However, upon the arrival of the police, the 41 year old went into hiding trying to make it seem like he was on the run

To ensure a proper sweep through off the area, the canine was set off to track the German citizen who was found to be hidden in his attic

Following this, the man was right there arrested on the charges of "inhumane and life-threatening smuggling as well as membership in a criminal organization"

It is to be noted that Dirk P is suspected of being involved in the illegal transfer of 10,000 people across the English Channel on small inflatable boats
