During her lifetime, the golden retriever spent most of her time gently reading books and snuggling with little kids

In one of these classes, Hudson noticed that Harlee wasn't feeling well which was followed by a vet check up

Sadly, this was where all changed as Harlee was diagnosed with cancer and had less than one week

After her passing, the grief struck owner however started receiving countless little gifts, all tributed to the beautiful Goldie Harlee

The gifts included handmade colorful cards, pictures, flower bouquets, and so much more made by tiny hands who loved and dearly missed the reading dog

"She was our reading dog, but she was so much more", Jessica Hollingsorth, Reading Specialist at the Western Primary School stated in one of the interviews

Thanking everyone's efforts and love, Hudson commented "I can't even put it into words. I'm completely humbled that so many people have loved my dog like they do."
