Leeds Culvert Rescue: Dog Finally Rescued after 18 Hours Operation

An 18 hour long rescue operation was carried out recently to free a trapped pooch from one of the conduits in Leeds

Due to unknown reasons, Martha, the English Bull Terrier had ran into the culvert trapping herself deep into it

Following this the owners had requested a plea for help which was even circulated over various social media platforms

While many people came forward, the first aid was offered by Dr Drainage, a local drainage firm

Afterwards with the joint efforts of the Yorkshire Water, West Yorkshire Fire Service and Dr Drainage a rescue mission was carried out

This lasted for 18 hours, that is from 3 PM Saturday afternoon to 9 AM Sunday morning
