She was recognized with a Points of Light Award, which is awarded to individuals who are creating a positive difference in the community

Originally founded by Marion Montgomery, however the idea of picking up litter came from her three dogs, Murphy, Paddy and Ted

Started in 2018, now 'Paws on Plastic' has 23,000 followers with a record of 34 million pieces of litter eradication every year

Moreover, Marion is also working with Keep Scotland Beautiful, Keep Britain Tidy, the SSPCA, Marine Conservation Society and the Surfers Against Sewage
