The incident which shook the locals and was even telecasted in the regional news is one of the most disgusting and gruesome animal cruelty cases ever reported

Found dead and tied to a tree, the poor animal was spotted by a passerby who then immediately contacted the RSPCA

Upon inspection it was found that the dog was alive for a while, finally succumbing all alone, afraid and waiting desperately for rescue

"The area where he was abandoned is remote and he was tied to a tree which wasn't near a pathway, so whoever did this cruel act likely did so with the intention of the dog not being found" stated Insp Kerrison

Not only this but even though the canine was found to be microchipped, the address and contact details were invalid

So, it is not wrong to assume that the perpetrators had been pre-mediating getting rid of the poor soul for a long time

Currently RSPCA has lodged a case under the Animal Cruelty Laws and is actively seeking any info that could help them detect and seize the criminals responsible for this nefarious crime
