My Experience with K9 Connectables
Having two doggos of my own, a beautiful Labrador named Bruno and a Spitz mix, Viku, taking care of their mental and physical needs has always been one of my top priorities. While they do have hundreds of toys to play with, recently they were showing quite a decline in their interest to play with them.
That really made me anxious and so I consulted with many friends over Facebook. One of them sent me a toy list that was from K9 Connectables, and being an overenthusiastic person myself, I soon dived into their website.
When I first logged in, it seemed just like any normal website. They had a number of toys that I could choose from, however the one thing that I liked the most was the variety. Thus, to give them a try, I purchased two medium starter packs, which included The Original, The Dentist and the Tech Bone.
The Package
Having bought two different medium starter packs, a Gentle one for Bruno and a Pro Kit for Viku, I was amazed to see their thorough packaging. The contents were sent to me in two different boxes, each one bearing fillings to prevent any damage to the insides.
Additionally, to my surprise, the package also came with a pack of chicken and carrot treats, so bonus points for thoughtfulness.
The Toys
Coming to the inside contents, the toys are pretty high quality. They didn’t look like normal toys, and I guessed it was to support multiple functions. For instance, the toys could act as normal toys or could be fitted with treats to make them a better and more alluring timepass for my doggos.
The toys also came with a detailed instruction manual which contained various steps that I could use to ramp up my pets experience. So for starters, I offered them the Original ball which they both enjoyed chasing for a while, but were soon bored.
Thus, as per instructions provided, I tried putting some of their favorite treats inside and then connected the Original ball with the Dentist toy. This toy had several elevated grooves, unlike the former one I used, which fortunately has helped my canines be a lot busier than they were previously.
For Tech Bone, I generally put toothpaste inside and let them chew on it. The toy is huge, and therefore doesn’t fit inside their snouts completely. This somehow excites my Spitz mix a lot, and he is the one that usually keeps sprinting all over the house with the Tech Bone within his jaws. And for Bruno, he absolutely adores his Original + Dentist toy combination. So personally, speaking, I do feel like K9 Connectables are worth the hype.
Usability
In terms of usability, the K9 Connectable starter pack did not disappoint me at all. First of all they are made up of durable materials that you can feel from touch and judging by their weight. Second of all they can be used as both toys for enjoyment as well as for hiding treats.
My dogs have been regularly playing with the K9 Connectables I had ordered for them a few months back, and not even a single tear can be found anywhere. While this might be because none of my canines are aggressive chewers, I still am pretty amazed by their lasting.
Enjoyment
Out of all the dog toy brands I have tried before, K9 Connectables seemed to be one of the best choices by far. Although a bit pricier than most decent quality toys, they are definitely long lasting and therefore are best as one-time investments.
Pet parents can choose from three different starter packs that consist of toys designed for canines of varying energy levels. This usually includes easy to assemble toys which can be joined with others to increase their difficulty meter. Moreover, thanks to their special design, inserting treats is also a viable option.
I usually insert the treats into the Original ball and then connect it to the Dentist and Tech Bone, which easily keeps my babies distracted for hours. This has also led to a reduction in their occasional destructive behavior, meaning less mess when I get back home.

Frankly speaking, it could be better if they went down a few notches when it comes to their price, but if budget isn’t an issue, then K9 Connectables are definitely one of the best one-time investments you can make. The customer care is very responsive and knows what they are saying. They helped me pick out the best deals that could go with my purchase, and for that I would like to rate them a 5 out of 5 points.
